"Quick responses, next day tech service appointment, on-time arrival and our issue was resolved within 2 hours! Our furnace started blowing cold air a couple nights ago, and I was able to track it to being a faulty gas valve (thanks youtube) - which is out of my level of comfort to do anything with. We called Winters Home Services yesterday afternoon and had a scheduled service appointment window of 10am-12pm today! We were very happy to have such a quick turnaround to help get our heat back on when it's 20F outside. We got an automated text saying our technician, Zane, was on his way. The text included his photo, which I'm sure is reassuring to many folks who live alone or are worried about strangers arriving to their door. Zane arrived right around 10am and was very friendly and had no problem with me asking questions or shadowing his work so I could educate myself as well. He diagnosed the issue, called a service shop to find the replacement part, went to pick it up, notified me when he returned, and replaced the faulty valve quickly and efficiently. Our heat was back on within 1.5 hours of his initial arrival. He mentioned the new valve had a 1year warranty as well, but the furnace was 12 years old so it will likely outlive the furnace."
